ewa-marine A-RED flexible housing

The ewa-marine A-RED underwater housing was specially developed for the red Epic. RED’s dragon, Scarlet and mystery-x also fit.

The housing is made of PVC soft film and the front port is made of optical glass. Thus, you have no limitations in image quality. The camera can be held and handled by means of a built-in carrytubus, so that you have easy operation of the camera in the underwater housing. A large tubus on top of the enclosure allows you to install a 9 “RED touch LCD display. In addition, you can use the battery “red brick 153Wh” in the housing and have enough space in the housing. Furthermore, an air discharge valve is installed in the underwater housing, with air can be drained if necessary.

The housing A-RED is particularly suitable for use on the beach, in rain, in the desert, but of course also for snorkeling or diving (up to 10m depth).

The closure of the housing consists of two clamping rails, which are screwed together with four screws, thereby sealing the housing waterproof. Please make sure that this area is always clean. There should be no sand, hair or dirt, otherwise it can lead to leakage!

There is the possibility to install a floor tripod plate that allows you to use the RED camera with the A-RED underwater housing on a tripod. To confronting the housing, we have installed lead holders at the bottom of the housing. Here you can attach our BV2 leads .

Maximum recommended depth: 10 meters!

The A-RED underwater housing is limited to the following lens specifications:

-For lenses with a maximum length of 180mm.

-For lenses with a maximum diameter of 107mm.

– For lenses with a maximum filter diameter of 95mm * *.

* * Please note that we are currently unable to adapt lenses with a larger filter diameter than 95mm. * *
