Quality doesn’t always have to be expensive. There are always bargains avalible that you can buy for less and save money.
As part of the production process, at our factory in Wolfratshausen, Germany, some of the units of a production run fall foul of our quality assurance and are sorted out. These are products that are 100% waterproof and technically flawless, but are “ugly” because of a cosmetic defect. These are mostly light scratches, color flaws or classed as “ugly”, because too thick, welded seams. Therefore not suitable for sale in retail or our export. But to good to be trown away.
These housings are therefore offered here, in the factory sale, somewhat cheaper than normal.
Use the oportunity, buy cheap and save money! The housings are fully waterproof, technically flawless (no flaws in the glass of the front port) and have the normal factory warranty of two years.
ewa-marine D-B flexible housing
This uw-housing has been developed for the Compact of the MFT/micro-four-thirds and other mirrorless SLR or CSC/compact system cameras. The Blackmagic Pocket Cinema camera also fits into this underwater housing.
The use on boats, surfing, swimming or snorkeling is easy, because the cameras used in the housing can be operated from the outside as normal, so that the user gets interesting pictures without special knowledge and practice.
With the D-B you can now easily take your camera into the water, whether for sailing, canoeing or even scuba diving up to 20m depth.
Experienced UW-photographers have reached this depth in their tests and found that the autofocus is working exactly and the firing with flash light is working normally. The high water pressure is compensated by the input of abundant air, so that in the housing always the ambient pressure prevails. This is not the only reason why the ewa-marine enclosure is the safe solution for every water sportsman’s camera.
Please note: If you want to use the camera with flash (strongly recommended when diving), we offer the ewa-marine D-AX underwater housing .
The housing is made of special foil and has an integrated optical glass port. A bulge is installed in the housing for the additional flash that is offered as standard in most cameras.
The closure of the housing consists of two clamping rails, which are screwed together with three knurled screws, thereby sealing the housing waterproof.
Problems with Samsung Lens:
The Samsung 1:3.5-5.6 20-50mmII requires the additionally available Ewa-Marine AV110 adapter. Unfortunately, this does not fit into the D-B. If you want to use this lens, you can dodge the slightly larger ewa-marine D-A . (The AV110 is included with the D-A)
