As part of the production process, at our factory in Wolfratshausen, Germany, some of the units of a production run fall foul of our quality assurance and are sorted out. These are products that are functional, waterproof and technically flawless, but are “ugly” because of some cosmetic reason. These are mostly light scratches, color flaws or classed as “ugly”, because too thick, welded seams. Therefore not suitable for sale in retail or our export. But much to good to just throw away.
We therefore offer you these housings here, in our factory outlet, at a price somewhat cheaper as usual.
Use the oportunity, buy cheap and save money! The housings are fully waterproof, technically flawless (no flaws in the glass of the front port) and have the normal factory warranty of two years.

The U-BF was especially designed to meet the needs of the professional photographer and his digital SLR (such as the Nikon D300, D800, D3, D4 and Canon 5d Mark II, 5d Mark III, Eos 1DX) and lenses with a filter thread of up to 72mm.
The big difference between the U-BF and other housings of the U-B.. Series is the fact that in addition to the intervention for the right index finger at the trigger at the U-BF also a “glove” has been integrated. This glove was designed for the user’s left hand and allows him to support the camera and lens in his left hand, quite conventionally. The hand directly on the lens now allows him to manually operate the camera and the lens, set it and access all the details. It can make exactly the photo, with exactly the settings it needs for the desired effect.
It is easy to operate the camera and the lens as well as the various components in the housing. All buttons, switches and rings can be easily operated through the special PVC of the housing. The U-BF is the housing for fashion photography in or at pools or on the beach in the surf, sports photography, as well as nature and artistic photography. Especially in the area around the water surface its advantages can be fully played out. But also in areas of application where the camera or the environment must be protected from chemical or biological contamination. However, since both hands of the photographer are firmly connected to the housing, it should be considered that the use in diving is only difficult.
Please note: With this enclosure you will get an adapter system to connect the lens of the camera to the front glass of the case. With the housing, you will receive a set of CAF adapters (52, 55, 58 and 62 mm) in order to be able to use smaller lenses. If you want to use other, smaller lenses, you would have to buy the appropriate reducing adapter for your camera dealer.
This enclosure opens up new and unusual applications for your large, digital SLR. Of course, even smaller cameras, with or without an additional battery grip can be used in the U-BF. The housing is designed for diving depths up to 5m.
The housing is made of special foil and has an integrated optical glass port.
The closure of the housing consists of two clamping rails, which are screwed together with three screws, thereby sealing the housing waterproof.
Attention: All the used lenses that you want to use underwater must have internal focus.
